Suspension of time

As a young girl, my biophysicist parents looked for anything from their area of work to interest a child. This included viewings of this famous apple picture and doing things like freezing beer.

Later, as an "experimental"teen, I became fascinated with how time seems to be suspended after imbibing various substances. Perhaps a seed of that fascination came from enjoying pictures such as these...

It may be cliche, but time did seem to feel more eternal as a young person.

Try to suspend time a bit - sink into the time between awake and asleep and awake. That's about all we have nowadays, in midlife crisis land.
